Relay for Life!

The Relay for Life Joondalup & Wanneroo weekend is over for 2019 but Team Nitro are feeling grateful to have been a part of it!

We were able to raise $3,126 of the $300,000, and are delighted we were able to contribute. The team did a great job for their first year’s effort!

We walked with our fellow work colleagues, their friends and partners, and had some nice chats while lapping together. We also learnt the beauty of sleep and resting our feet.

As a team, we completed roughly 275, 420m laps (that’s 115.5 kilometres!) in the 24 hours.

You can expect to see us at the 2020 event and we are already feeling inspired to get our fundraising started.

The Relay for Life is a fun experience where by teams walk throughout the night, raising funds for Cancer Council’s research, prevention and support services. It is a chance for the Joondalup community to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost to cancer and in turn, helping to save lives.
